What is a Newsfeed? What is RSS?
Newsfeeds (RSS: Really Simple Syndication) are a convenient way to keep track of news and other rapidly changing content. Instead of checking many sites frequently, you view their collected headlines in one place. If something sounds interesting, you click on a headline and read the article.
You can subscribe to newsfeeds with feed reader software (aka aggregators, RSS readers, or news readers), a web browser, email software, a homepage, a cell phone, or instant messaging.
To subscribe, add the newsfeed link to your feed reader or whatever you use. Depending on the software, you either click on the newsfeed link, or drag it to your reader. The newsfeed link is the orange icon in the left column of this site.
