Dalai Lama advocates vegetarianism Buddhist Vegetarian

When Dalai Lama taught in San Francisco in April of 2007, I organized a group to hand out leaflets asking Buddhists to stop eating animals. We gave out approximately 2,000 leaflets to the people standing in line to get in. HHDL praises & recommends vegetarianism, and gives financial support to the Tibetan vegetarian movement.

When Dalai Lama comes to Sacramento, I will organize another Buddhist vegetarian leafletting effort. If you go to the Sacramento teachings and would like to help people and animals, please contact me. If you know any dharma practitioners in the Sacramento area who might be interested, also have them contact me.
