You can save yourself some work by re-using the event listing, instead of creating a new one every month. Follow the instructions below.

For this month:

Create a new entry that describes the current month's recurring event(s). Assign the entry to the Category for this month. Click save to publish it.

To update the listing:

Edit the title, excerpt and content as needed. If dates are given, update them. Change the Category to the upcoming month. In the Published on field, select the date and delete it. Next to the Basename field, click on the lock icon. Select the basename and delete it. Click save. The software will set the published on date to today, and create a new basename.

When you create a new Published on date, your listing will move up to the top of the list. Blog entries are displayed in the order of the published on dates, with the most recent ones first. When you create a new basename, RSS feedreaders will show the listing as a new entry.

If you are going to skip a month:

Change the Category to the blank one, change the Entry status to unpublished, then save. When your event resumes it's normal schedule, follow the instructions above for updating the listing. Change the Entry status to published. Click save.
